Plomondon Independent Film Festival (PIFF)

Last weekend we screened a short/initial cut version of Thanks for your support! at the 2011 Plomondon Independent Film Festival and it was voted “best documentary” by the audience.

The festival, held annually in Toledo, WA is one of our favorite festivals and always has a wide array of films. Thanks again to Mike and Di Morgan for putting on another great festival.

We’re going through the feedback we also received from the audience and will use it as we continue working on the full-length version of the film.

Plomondon Independent Film Festival (PIFF)

While it has been quite some time since we posted an update on Thanks for your support!, or anything else, it doesn’t mean we haven’t been working. The documentary is coming along nicely and we’re going to be screening a short version of what we have so far at the 2011 Plomondon Independent Film Festival. We’re really looking forward to screening a short version of the film and getting feedback as we continue working on the documentary. The festival, held annually in Toledo, WA is February 18-19.

The film is about Richard Terzieff and his 20-plus year journey as the owner of Recorded Memories, an independent record store, in Spokane, WA.

While this project has taken longer than we originally planned, it can be challenging to carve out the time when you aren’t making films full-time. You have to work a little harder to carve out the necessary time to devote to the project, but if it’s something you feel passionate about you’ll find a way to reach your goal. We still have a ways to go on our journey, but we’re enjoying every step of the way and are still committed to telling the best story we can.
